Our International Women and Justice Summit, held biennially, is our international event where we draw attention to women’s issues. At the summit, we address many issues related to women, family, and society from a global and multifaceted perspective.

In 2014, we examined women’s issues in the context of justice.

In 2016, due to the humanitarian crisis in Syria, we organized a summit that included refugee women, and we said, “Raise Your Voice for Justice.”

In 2018, under the theme “Strengthening the Family,” we addressed the well-being of the family along with the responsibilities of both women and men.

In 2020, amidst the continuing pandemic, we sought answers to how we can protect humanity and truth in this new world shaped by artificial intelligence under the theme “Staying Human in the Digital Age.”

In 2022, we held our fifth summit with the theme “Cultural Codes and Women.”

With the experience and future vision we had gained from these summits, we organized the sixth International Women and Justice Summit under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Women.”

The summit, held from November 21-23, 2026, addressed the theme of “Constructed Beauties,” exploring how perceptions of beauty and aesthetic preferences have become a flexible issue affecting education, employment, social visibility, and self-esteem.

VIIth SUMMIT – Constructed Beauties

KADEM has a long history of organizing influential summits, bringing together respected officials, academics, and experts from around the world. Since its establishment on 8 March 2013, KADEM, as a nongovernmental organization, advocates the principle of ‘equality in existence, justice in responsibility’ and works to build a safe society and a just future where women can live in dignity.

This year’s summit theme, “Constructed Beauties,” addresses how perceptions of beauty have moved beyond aesthetic preference to become a structural issue affecting education, employment, public visibility, and self-esteem. The summit aims to redefine beauty on the basis of human dignity, gender justice, and equal opportunities, moving it beyond a tool that disciplines and objectifies women’s bodies.

Together with policymakers, academics, civil society representatives, and stakeholders, we will explore beauty pressure in a multilayered manner—through norm production, global power relations, economic and labor regimes, and technological trends. Our goal is to open the issue of justice in beauty perceptions to discussion as an integral dimension of gender justice and to establish a shared conceptual ground in this field.

At our summit, we aim to address the following key questions:

The summit will address pivotal questions such as:

  • What structural barriers restrict women’s participation in public life in the context of beauty standards? • How do digital algorithms and AI-based filters render beauty norms “natural” and inevitable?
  • How do beauty labor and invisible costs affect women’s economic independence?
  • As women’s bodies change throughout the life cycle, what injustices are produced by the persistence of fixed beauty standards?
  • How can local and pluralistic “Representational Justice” be built against homogenizing, Western-centered aesthetic norms?

As a speaker, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage with an international community of policymakers, academics, and advocates.
  • Present your work and insights on the impact of beauty norms on women’s empowerment and inclusion.
  • Participate in high-level panel discussions and exclusive networking sessions.
  • Contribute to meaningful dialogues that propel progress and innovation in gender justice.
