Information And Manipulation

EXCLUSIVE PANEL SESSION

ABOUT PANEL

In today’s social relations, the gap between perceptions and facts are widening and the truth do not always match with attitudes, opinions and perceptions. Perception studies to influence the ideas and behaviors of people and societies are more than a new type of propaganda with the new tools provided by the digital world. This provides a wide area of manipulation to both its addressees and practitioners. How does the mechanism of rupture with the truth to which humanity is subjected function and operate? How do the states fight against this manipulation system? What should be done in order not to be subjected to informational exploitation?
